El gerente de Transcaribe, Humberto Ripoll, se reunir\u00e1 este martes con el presidente de la Asociaci\u00f3n Nacional de Industriales, ANDI, Bruce Mac Master, a fin de materializar una alianza con este importante gremio de la producci\u00f3n que determine una pronta soluci\u00f3n al tema de la certificaci\u00f3n de los dieciocho buses que se encuentran hace dos meses en Pereira, y que deber\u00e1n ser incorporados al sistema.<\/p>\n

\n

Los buses, para entrar a funcionar en las distintas rutas del Sistema Integrado de Transporte Masivo (SITM) requieren que el Ministerio de Minas y Energ\u00eda entregue una certificaci\u00f3n de tecnolog\u00eda amigable con el medio ambiente. Como se sabe, los veh\u00edculos que operan en Transcaribe son a gas y no contaminan el ambiente. Esta tecnolog\u00eda limpia, al ser certificada, permite una exenci\u00f3n de impuestos.<\/p>\n

\n

En este proceso de certificaci\u00f3n de los veh\u00edculos se requiere la intervenci\u00f3n de por lo menos cuatro Ministerios del Gobierno nacional. Sin sus permisos o avales, los buses no podr\u00e1n operar. Una vez culmine este procedimiento legal, se har\u00e1n los tr\u00e1mite de registro o matr\u00edcula a nivel local, ante el Datt y la Sijin, entre otros organismos.<\/p>\n

\u201cEl Ministerio de Minas tiene que hacer una resoluci\u00f3n donde valida, por decirlo as\u00ed, cu\u00e1les son las tecnolog\u00edas que aportan al medio ambiente y en este caso los veh\u00edculos a gas. Esa resoluci\u00f3n se venci\u00f3 el 31 de diciembre y est\u00e1n en proceso de actualizarla, pero ya estamos en junio y no lo han hecho. El primero de diciembre metimos los papeles, y no tiene l\u00f3gica que nos tengan los veh\u00edculos represados por este asunto\u201d, sostuvo el gerente Ripoll.<\/p>\n

Dijo que tambi\u00e9n a los buses se les deben instalar los torniquetes y someterse a pruebas de recorrido. \u201cNo es simplemente obtener el certificado y al d\u00eda siguiente est\u00e1n rodando los buses\u201d, explic\u00f3.<\/p>\n

\n

A\u00f1adi\u00f3 que en este semestre ser\u00e1n en total ciento ocho los buses que vendr\u00e1n al sistema. Pero que sin el certificado en menci\u00f3n no podr\u00e1n llegar incorporarse a la operaci\u00f3n. \u201cLa demanda en Cartagena est\u00e1 subiendo y la oferta es la misma. Igual el proceso de chatarrizaci\u00f3n est\u00e1 ligado a la llegada de los nuevos veh\u00edculos, porque la ciudadan\u00eda no se puede quedar sin servicio de transporte\u00a8, agreg\u00f3.<\/p>\n

A la reuni\u00f3n en la ANDI asistir\u00e1n directivos de Busscar, la empresa que fabrica las carrocer\u00edas de Transcaribe. Adem\u00e1s de este paso, el Gerente de Transcaribe dijo que el Alcalde Manuel Vicente Duque tambi\u00e9n adelanta gestiones ante el Gobierno nacional a fin de agilizar estos procesos, que impiden el crecimiento en servicios del SITM de Cartagena.<\/p>\n
