La conclusi\u00f3n m\u00e1s destacada del informe es el crecimiento de la demanda, la cual es superior al mismo per\u00edodo de 2024.<\/p>\n<p>En la presente vigencia, entre los meses de enero y abril, se movilizaron 10.122.780 usuarios a bordo del SITM, lo que significa un crecimiento de m\u00e1s de 144 mil pasajeros, con respecto al mismo lapso del a\u00f1o anterior. La gerente resalt\u00f3 este crecimiento, y reiter\u00f3 que se aspira a aumentar en m\u00e1s de 20 mil usuarios la demanda promedio diaria, que hoy est\u00e1 en 110 mil pasajeros, con la incorporaci\u00f3n de la nueva flota que est\u00e1 en proceso de adquisici\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Barrios tambi\u00e9n insisti\u00f3 en el llamado a la ciudadan\u00eda a vincularse a Transcaribe como conductores de veh\u00edculos. \u201cA Transcaribe Operador le hacen falta cien conductores, con los 99 veh\u00edculos que tiene hoy en operaci\u00f3n. Por eso, desde ya, estamos insistiendo en que cartageneros y no cartageneros se acerquen a presentar sus hojas de vida\u201d, expres\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>En el informe tambi\u00e9n se resaltaron avances registrados durante este a\u00f1o en el sistema, como el incremento de puntos de recarga externa a m\u00e1s de 1.600, el lanzamiento de la app MiBus Transcaribe, la mejora de pasarelas y espacios del patio portal en alianza con Essentia y Surtigas, la realizaci\u00f3n de estudios y dise\u00f1os para la recuperaci\u00f3n del carril solo bus, y para una eventual tarifa diferencial para poblaci\u00f3n estudiantil y adulto mayor.<\/p>\n<p>Ante las preguntas de los honorables concejales acerca de las medidas tomadas para prevenir los veh\u00edculos varados, la gerente reiter\u00f3 los esfuerzos que realiza Transcaribe en su rol de operador para el mantenimiento constante de su flota, y explic\u00f3 las acciones que se toman con los operadores privados.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTenemos el registro de los veh\u00edculos varados de cada operador, y hemos iniciado procesos sancionatorios al respecto, teniendo en cuenta lo que est\u00e1 contemplado en los contratos de concesi\u00f3n.
