Transcaribe lamenta profundamente el fallecimiento de un peat\u00f3n que se vio involucrado en un accidente con un veh\u00edculo del sistema, en la noche del pasado viernes.<\/p>\n

De acuerdo a las primeras informaciones, el peat\u00f3n habr\u00eda intentado cruzar la Avenida Pedro de Heredia a la altura de la entrada de Las Gaviotas, sin percatarse de que el sem\u00e1foro estaba en verde.<\/p>\n

Lamentablemente, el operador del veh\u00edculo del sistema no tuvo tiempo de frenar y evitar golpear al peat\u00f3n, quien fue auxiliado y trasladado de inmediato a un centro asistencial, donde falleci\u00f3 en la tarde de este s\u00e1bado.<\/p>\n

El sistema env\u00eda su mensaje de condolencias a los familiares y allegados del fallecido, y reitera su pesar ante este triste hecho.<\/p>\n

As\u00ed, tambi\u00e9n reiteramos nuestro llamado al respeto de las normas de tr\u00e1nsito y a transitar con prudencia en las v\u00edas de la ciudad. La seguridad vial es una responsabilidad de todos los actores viales.<\/p>\n

Transcaribe continuar\u00e1 fortaleciendo las acciones encaminadas a fomentar la seguridad vial y prevenir este tipo de incidentes, a trav\u00e9s de su campa\u00f1a \u201cAvanza seguro\u201d, que desarrolla junto a los concesionarios de la operaci\u00f3n, el DATT y dem\u00e1s entidades.<\/p>\n
